Please join us for a meet-the-artist reception for Charles Parker Boggs on Tuesday, September 13 from 4:30-6:30 in the Weber Art Gallery on the 2nd floor of the Record Memorial Building at the University of Pikeville.
This exhibition of Appalachian surrealist Charles Parker Boggs’ work will be on display from August 15 to October 7.
Boggs’ art is a product of his environment and his experiences as an Appalachian surrealist. He has been quoted as saying “The only way out is art.” This exhibition will be a great opportunity to see the work of an artist who is truly unique to this region.
